How do most burglars break into a home?

You should have a carbon monoxide protection in any home, and the great thing is these are monitored by the central station. Do I need smoke detectors? You should have a smoke detector in any home, and the great thing is these are monitored by the central station. What is life safety monitoring? This could be CO detection, smoke detection, or a “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up" type device for the elderly. What happens when an alarm goes off? Most systems are set up to alert the system owner via an emergency contact list first, then the police if the monitoring station doesn’t get someone on the line. However this could vary depending on how the initial set up was for the installation. It could go direct to police. What if there is a false alarm? False alarms happen, but please check with your local municipality for fines related to false alarms. What if my internet goes out? Newer systems most often come with cellular wireless radios so you don’t have to worry about the internet going out for the alarm signal. For wireless cameras, if you lose internet you won’t have recording for that period of time unless you have a recording device connected. Where should I install my security cameras?
